Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Marathon Hub or the Marathon Overlay tool, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. This is a personal fan-made project, not affiliated with Bungie, Inc.
2. What this service is
Marathon Hub is a community site that displays gameplay statistics submitted by players using the Marathon Overlay, and lets players share game settings presets. It's free, comes with no guarantees of uptime or accuracy, and may be modified or shut down at any time.
3. Overlay data submission
When you opt in through the overlay, anonymized gameplay events from your sessions are submitted to this service. You can opt out any time from the overlay settings panel. The overlay works fine without it.
4. Settings presets
When you publish a settings preset, the preset name, author tag (if provided), description, and settings values are stored and made publicly visible on this site. Anyone can view, link to, or download your preset. Don't put personal information you wouldn't want public in the author or description fields.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, malformed, or malicious data
- Scrape, abuse, or overload the service APIs
- Reverse-engineer the service to gain unauthorized access
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without permission
6. Intellectual property
Marathon and all related assets, trademarks, imagery, and intellectual property belong to Bungie, Inc. This project makes no claim to any of those assets. The operator is a fan, not an official partner or representative of Bungie.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
This service is provided “as is” without any warranty. The operator isn't liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of the service or the overlay tool.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes means you've accepted the updated terms.
9. Contact
For questions or data removal requests, open an issue on the project's GitHub repository or contact the operator directly.
